Welcome everybody to episode 49 of the Football United vs Soccer City podcast. It is heart warming to watch the football community submitting items and then interacting on the social media pages. It is a credit to our community that people continue to contribute, comment and reminisce. And for this I am thankful and grateful.

Gerry Walker is our interviewee in episode 49. Gerry was born in Glasgow in 1947 and began his football journey in the 1950s. His football journey is amazing. Gerry has a sense of adventure and has accomplished so much in his time in football. In this two part episode Gerry discusses his footballing journey of playing and coaching across 3 continents.
